Inheriting the age-long family tradition in a vineyard that has never changed hands, we organically cultivate native varieties in Lixouri, Kefallonia. Our goal? To highlight the Kefallonian terroir. Haritatos family history in the Ionian island of Keafalonia is written on the 15 hectares estate that includes an 1863 Stone farmhouse, a small family chapel, plus an olive grove, fruit orchards aromatic and medicinal herbs, lots of cypresses and of course the Vineyard. A vineyard that never changed hands a family relay race. Haritatos estate practices organic vine cultivation on 5hec of vineyard, planted with native Kefalonian varieties: Mavrodaphne, Vostilidi and Muscat (petit grain) hand picked when harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in her boutique winery. All five labels are PGI. The Estate is part of the Open to Public Wineries network of the greek Ministry of Tourism. We are offering, by appointment, wine tasting and wine experiences.
